Pixel participated in the second meeting of the European project entitledVR@School – Future schools using the power of virtual and augmented reality, which was held on 30 – 31 May 2019 at Bragança (Portugal). The European project entitled VR@School was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The European project was written and coordinated by Liceul Teoretic de Informatica „Grigore Moisil“ based in Iasi and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The VR@School project aims at supporting Virtual Reality as a teaching methodology which helps students feel immersed in an experience, gripping their imagination and stimulating thought in ways not possible with traditional books, pictures or videos, and facilitates a far higher level of knowledge retention. During the second meeting, the European project partners finalized the first output, the Teach@School Online Library collecting Educational Technology and Open Education Resources. In addition, the European project partners discussed the structure of the Teachers Guide on Virtual Reality in school education to be produced in the forthcoming months.
