We reached a new level of quality in our light-field VR experience, and, we dare to say, we reached a new level of quality in the VR arena as a whole.
This is our latest raw through-the-lens footage. The change of focus is real as much as it is real in the real world. No „eye“-tracking and calculation of the blur or other imitations are involved. It has the promised natural depth.
We hope that one day, this footage will be remembered as the opening of a new chapter in VR. The natural focus depth brings the same improvement to VR as colours brought to black and white TVs.
We have shown the basic effect earlier, of course, but this time also the other classical qualities are at the very top or above the very top of today’s VR hardware. You should watch it on a full screen.
